High Traffic Top Niche Forums That Allow Signature Links

Before you try any of the tips in this post, you must understand that this is NOT an SEO technique or tactic. This is just a simple way to drive traffic to your blog or website by providing useful comments and posts to forums in your evergreen niche.

Whatever you do, do not spam the forums below, always provide value and insight to the forums you post on.

I thought it would be useful to you if I created a list of forums that allow signature links for the top three niches. If you didn’t know, the top five niches are:

1. Men picking up women
2. Weight loss And fitness
3. Making money online

You can cut yourself a piece of the niche pie by posting value to the forums and driving traffic. This goes without saying that you need a dedicated blog and a squeeze page with a lead magnet to bring in new subscribers into your funnel.

What is a forum signature? It’s a link that is automatically placed at the bottom of each of your forum posts. You are allowed to create a signature link to your own web property. You are not allowed to create signature links directly to affiliate programs, so as the nihilist say: “no funny stuff!” 

Also, depending on the forum you might not be allowed to have a signature link until you fulfill a post count. Some forums won’t let you have a sig. link until you have a post count of fifty, but that’s no problem. You can get that in no time!

Tips on getting forum traffic – It goes without saying that you shouldn’t spam these sites. You should also be providing real value that addresses the questions the original poster asked. Here are some other useful tips you can use:

• Use an image of yourself, this inspires trust.
• Change your sig’s text from time to time. You want to test what converts best for you.
• Go back to threads that you were quoted on and continue the conversation.
• Link to a post that ends with an optin box.
• Comment on popular threads and provide useful tips.
• By following these simple tips you’ll be well on your way to a great online reputation.

Criteria for my forum picks – I was looking for three criteria for each pick. They are as follows:

• Must be on the first page of Google for the root keyword + Forum. Example: weight loss forum.
• Must have over 100,000 visitors a month.
• Must allow forum signatures.

Let’s not kid ourselves, there is more money in the “men picking up women” niche than there is in the “women picking up men” niche. The pick up artist niche (or PUA) is booming. The best PUA forum to get traffic to your site is what a doubt pick-up-artist-forum.com.

Forum requirement for sig: I couldn’t find any post count requirements. I’d post about twenty times before I’d add a sig link. I recommend you do the same.

Forum traffic stats: 102,600 visits over the last 30 days

Weight loss And fitness

The best weight loss forum with tons of traffic that allows signatures is 3fatchicks.com. As you can tell from the domain name it’s targeted towards women, but there is a men’s section as well.

Forum requirement for sig: You need to have at least twenty posts and have been a member for at least twenty days.

Forum traffic stats: 279,900 visits over the last 30 days

Making money online

I’ve written a ton about the Warrior forum. It’s my favorite online community and I comment there daily.

Forum requirement for sig: You can add sig links from day one but people won’t respect what you say until you have at least a post count of 200.

Start Posting Value Consistently…

Yes, you could go for more of an obscure niche, and you might have success with it. Hell, I profit in an uncommon niche.  

All that being said,  I recommend you go for an evergreen niche and carve out a piece of it for yourself, simply because:

• People are going to need help in these niches forever.
• People want to identify with someone like you that has a real success story.
• People are always looking for unique angles and perspectives on these topics.

All you have to do is post on the forum of your choice 5 times a day, at least. You won’t see huge amounts of traffic overnight, but little by little you’ll start to see people opting into your list.
