What is a tailwind tribe?
A tailwind tribe is a community of other tailwind members that share and schedule each other’s pinterest pins. At the time of writing this post, you can only join a tailwind tribe if you’re invited by a tribe member.
The power of a tailwind tribe: I’m sure you’ve heard about Pinterest groups. These are groups of Pinterest users that share each other’s pins. That’s all well and good, but you have to wonder about the commitment and reach of those users.
After all, Pinterest is free to use and not all of it’s members are as serious as you are when it comes to marketing content.
However, all tailwind members have to eventually pay for the app so you know that tailwind tribe members are committed to expanding their Pinterest accounts and improving the quality of their tribes.

Important Note: tailwind DOES plan to roll out a ‘tribe’ search bar in the near future. You’ll be able to find tribes in similar niches. Plus, you’ll be able to ask to join directly.
How to use a tailwind tribe?
Each tribe has their own rules, but generally speaking, you should share one image for every image you add to that tribe. Some tribes ask you to share two images for every image you share. Honestly, I’d stay away from those tribes.
The whole point of tailwind is to make things easier on you. The last thing you want to do is spend your Thursday scheduling two images for image you share. Keep it simple, stick to the tribes that require ‘one to one’ image sharing.
Adding your pin to a tribe is easy. Just click the little tribe icon on your image in the tailwind dashboard and choose the tribe you want to share the image to.
That’s pretty much it, when it comes to using tailwind tribes.
List of tailwind tribes…
