Many people believe you can only get sales and leads on Facebook by paying for traffic. This simply isn’t true, if you learn how to use a fan page and Facebook groups correctly.
In this post, I will show you step-by-step how with just 19 posts I was able to earn £379.60 without buying any Facebook traffic.
This worked out at £19.97 for each post I did on Facebook promoting products on the eBay partner network which is very easy to do.
What is the eBay partner network?
This is an affiliate site for eBay, you register to join and once you have been accepted which is normally in 24 hours you can then start promoting and sharing products from eBay.
If someone buys a product that you share then you receive a commission.
The Benefits of partnering with eBay……
eBay is a HUGE brand and very trusted. Plus they have thousands and thousands of products that you can promote on your site or blog.
Commissions range on the products from 50% to 70% of eBay’s profit made.
Getting started and finding products to promote is very simple.
You search on eBay for what you would like to share, copy the URL link, click create and then you get your very own link to share and start making money from.
Another great reason for joining the network is that for the first 3 months you get double commission on everything. So make the most of this and share as much as possible.
How I Made It Work!
So in October 2016 I set up a Facebook fan page called ‘Bargain Christmas Presents For Kids‘ and I shared this in a few different groups. I had a very simple image for the page that I created using Canva.
I did my first post on the 6th of October and over the next 13 days I posted 19 different toys that I had choose from eBay to promote.
Finding the products to promote was very easy as I was watching what people were looking for in the different groups on Facebook.
Paw Patrol seemed very popular so I focused on this toy as the main focus of my marketing efforts. I also promoted various board games and other toys.
See below image with some of the items I was promoting and also the number of people reached just above the red arrow.
The image in the middle is now blank as that product sold out on eBay is no longer available, however it was a very popular board game.
Now the reason for such a high reach of traffic on these posts is simple – what I was promoting was perfectly in tune with what people wanted.
Here are the exact holiday marketing tips I used to succeed online:
Step 1 – I would pick the item I wanted to promote from eBay
Step 2 – I then took the link and created a post on my Facebook page and shared this on my personal page. I also tagged friends and family who I thought would like the product.
Extra Fact: The great thing about sharing this sort of product on Facebook is that everyone tags their friends into the post. Plus, they end up sharing that post too.
Step 3 – I also shared the post from my page into a few different groups for Christmas ideas and gifts on Facebook.
There are hundreds of different Facebook groups that you can join to share Christmas presents gift ideas.
Don’t be spammy and keep posting the same stuff. Also be active in the groups as people don’t like it if you only drop in to share your link!
And that’s it, I would say in total I spent about 4 hours setting it all up and posting the offers on the Facebook page and also in the different groups.
Anyone can do plus, this is a really easy way to make some extra money working from home.
