Get Your WordPress Blog Noticed More

I saw this search query come up when I was looking for new content ideas and I just had to tackle it.

When you say “you want your blog seen” what you’re really talking about is ‘traffic’. That’s the group of people (target audience) who will seek out your site for it’s valuable content.

There are many ways to get traffic to your blog. It’s up to you to find out where your audience hangs out. Or you can create a place for your niche audience to hang out in, like a Facebook page or Pinterest board.

How to get your blog seen!

In the video I went over five different ways to get your blog noticed. I didn’t get into the details of each one because that would have been a super long video. I’ll cover each method on a later date so stay tuned!

How To Get Your Blog Seen

Social Media – There are many social networks for you to choose from. I’d start off with Facebook since it’s the biggest. Create a fan page around your niche and post on it regularly. Share it with your friends and let them re-share it. Build your audience that way and soon new members will come to you.

YouTube Videos – Arguably my favorite means of getting traffic. These days, it’s stupid simple to make videos. Create content around your niche and upload it on YouTube. Subscribe to other niche related channels and comment on their videos. Soon you’ll be getting subscribers. After some time, you can collaborate with other related niche channels and get even more subscribers!

SEO Marketing – I use to hunt keywords back in the day with success but the times they are a changing! These days, I have a back seat approach to SEO. I optimize all my content to be found but I don’t actively rank keywords. I now spend that time creating kick ass content. You should do the same!

Paid Traffic – I’ve gotten to love this form of traffic recently because I can test the market right then and there, instead of waiting months for my keywords to rank. The key point here is to track what your visitors are doing once they click through your Ad.

Local Ads – There are a ton of traffic sources in and around your town. Look for niche related magazines and newsletters. Check out which ads come up again and again. Create a similar Ad for your blog and watch the traffic roll in.

Like I said, in the months to come I’ll be expanding on these different methods to get your blog seen. Make sure you come back to get that essential information.

Also, it’s always appreciated when you share and re-post my content because it helps spread the word around about my site and what I’m trying to teach.
